Schyler, a Nashville native, joined Gideon, Cooper & Essary in 2019. She graduated from the University of Alabama cum laude in 2016 and earned her law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2019. In law school, Schyler clerked for Tuscaloosa County Circuit Court Judge Bradley Almond. As a journalism major, her experience in the journalism field primed her to quickly adapt and confidently face any situation that may arise in her career as a litigator.

At Gideon, Cooper & Essary, Schyler’s practice focuses on defending physicians, health care providers, and hospitals in health care liability and premises liability actions. She thrives on the complex and often medically-dense subject matter that so often accompanies health care litigation and enjoys the daily opportunities to delve into diverse areas of medicine. Schyler considers it an honor to represent those who have devoted their lives to caring for others.

In her spare time, Schyler enjoys scuba diving, hiking, traveling, and cheering for the Crimson Tide.
