Cole is originally from Sumner County, and he graduated from the University of Tennessee prior to attending Florida State University College of Law. During law school, Cole competed around the country for Florida State’s Trial Advocacy Team, and he was recognized as the team’s Most Outstanding Member in 2015. Prior to joining Gideon, Cooper & Essary, Cole was part of a civil litigation firm in Tallahassee, Florida, where he represented businesses in numerous wrongful death, premises liability, and breach of contract cases.
Cole advocates for both hospitals and individual providers in matters of health care liability, premises liability, and civil rights.
In his spare time, Cole loves to hunt in Middle Tennessee and Central Kentucky or fish the flats on the Gulf Coast. He is also a dedicated student of country music history.
